At ELO, we’re committed to hosting fair, transparent, and community-first events. Whether it’s a tournament, a product giveaway, or a one-night showdown. To ensure equal opportunity and preserve the integrity of our platform, all participants must adhere to the following rules.
By entering any ELO-run event, you are agreeing to this policy.
🎯 1. Eligibility
To participate in any official ELO event:
You must follow the specific instructions provided — whether that’s a sign-up link, entry form, Discord invite, or other method.
You must use your primary account (Discord, email, or social).
Use of alternate accounts, automation/bots, or entries made through “Join-for-Join” communities or exchange servers is strictly prohibited.
🕹️ 2. Fair Play & Integrity
We take competition seriously — and so should you.
Cheating, automation, or exploiting loopholes will lead to review or disqualification.
If someone accuses another participant, both parties must submit proof.
ELO staff may request screen recordings, live screen shares, or other forms of verification if credibility is in question.
Refusal to comply with a verification request = automatic disqualification.
📌 Proof requirements may increase depending on prize value, visibility, or dispute severity. ELO staff will make the final call on what qualifies as valid proof.
🛡️ 3. Verification Procedure
If a verification is required, it will be handled in a moderated call with ELO staff:
A translator will be provided if there’s a language barrier.
Both participants will be given the opportunity to:
Share their screens
Present evidence
Answer moderator questions
🎥 Consent Policy: Participants will be informed if the call is recorded. Verbal consent is required before the recording begins.
By joining a verification call, you consent to having your screen share and evidence reviewed by ELO staff for event integrity.
📁 Data Retention: Any recordings, screenshots, or evidence will be stored securely and deleted within 30 days unless needed for an ongoing dispute or legal reason.
⚖️ 4. Moderator Authority
ELO staff and event moderators hold final decision-making power:
All rulings are based on verified evidence and good-faith participation.
Hostility, evasion, or refusal to cooperate will result in disqualification.
Once a decision is made, it is final and binding.
🔒 5. Privacy & Conduct
We believe in protecting our players’ privacy — and that includes you.
Do not publicly share private DMs, screenshots, or personal information without explicit consent.
Evidence must be submitted privately to authorized ELO staff only.
We will never request access to private third-party conversations or platforms.
All dispute handling will respect platform guidelines, privacy laws, and community expectations.
Regardless of conflict, respectful conduct is mandatory.
🚫 6. Disqualification & Forfeits
You may be disqualified for any of the following:
Refusing verification
Using alternate/bot accounts
Violating eligibility or fair play rules
Submitting misleading information
Engaging in harassment or disruptive behavior
If a winner is disqualified, the prize will be awarded to the next eligible participant per event criteria.
🌐 7. Transparency & Ongoing Improvements
ELO is constantly evolving — and so are our events.
We will always strive to run events that are transparent, community-focused, and fair.
Feedback from participants is welcomed and will help improve future formats.
These rules may evolve, but our commitment to fairness will always be non-negotiable.
📌 Final Note
By entering any ELO giveaway, tournament, or event, you acknowledge and accept these policies.
Participation is a privilege. Integrity is non-negotiable.
