Last Updated: July 22, 2025
Yes! The Sentinel XR Glasses are fully certified for premium content streaming, including platforms like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and others. Whether you're watching from your phone, tablet, or OmniBase, you’ll get smooth, playback without compatibility errors.
What makes streaming possible on Sentinel?
To support HD and 4K streaming, the Sentinel includes two key certifications:
HDCP 2.2 Support
- Prevents unauthorized copying of HD content over HDMI or USB-C
- Required for streaming from services like Netflix or Disney+
- Ensures full-resolution playback from devices like PS5, laptops, and Android phones
Widevine L1 Certification
- Used by Android, Google TV, and media apps to restrict content playback based on device security
- Without L1, streaming apps are limited to 480p (SD)
- With L1 (which Sentinel supports), you get 1080p and 4K content, even for offline downloads
📌 Both certifications are baked into the Sentinel's firmware, so you won’t need to install anything extra to watch the platform of your choice.
